What is The "Found Hope" project
At AirDogDesigns, we turn scrap wood from local businesses into beautifully engraved art pieces, each with an uplifting message designed to spread love and positivity. These “hope pieces” are left in places like hiking trails and parks, waiting to be discovered by someone who may need a little encouragement.
When someone finds a piece, they can keep it and scan the QR code on the back to learn more about the project and submit their discovery to our “Found Hope Gallery” online, joining others who have found a bit of hope in their day.
This project is our way of addressing the growing mental health challenges faced by people today. We hope that, in finding one of these pieces, someone going through a tough time might feel a bit of relief or motivation, even if just for a moment. By spreading messages of hope, we aim to create a ripple effect of kindness, reminding people that they’re not alone.
If you have good-quality wood scraps to donate, we’d love to hear from you. If you are a graphic designer looking to spread some love, shoot us some of your positive designs to engrave as well. Your contribution helps us continue crafting and spreading these messages of hope across Utah, turning waste into something that can brighten someone’s day.
